Hells yeah!

Well, I thought since we can use Journal CCS for a limited time (even though I’m not talented to make my own CCS OTL) AND more importantly, since a certain thankyou on my behalf is owed to certain people of a specific amazing cool group, I should post up my belated 'Thanks a Whole Bunch' journal, complete with pictures! :'D Usually I wouldn’t include pictures of gifts, because I don’t want to be all, “hurr hurr, lookit what other people gave me”, but then I thought, heck, I want to show you guys that what you did for me and Lingfish on that Friday afternoon meant a whole lot, and that your gifts are now being displayed and cared for. Thus, I’m including pictures, darnit (ha, now I understand why other people do this)! 8D And I ramble a lot, so I’m guessing that this journal will be long (but please bare with me!).



I’m not lying. It really is such an enthusiastic, friendly group, and I loved being a part of it, and, well, I only wished it had been created sooner rather than later so I could’ve stayed longer ;; ! That VERY LAST Anime Club I attended, that Friday… it was touching, and fabulous, and unexpected. And man, I appreciated all you did, that last meeting.

Really.
Honestly.

Thanks to ALL of you. ALL OF YOU. I mean, the gifts were amazing and the sushi/cake/nibblies party was amazing (Hahaha, I almost blew it by walking in early to set up the laptop… I seriously had no idea what was going on though, and didn’t understand why Serena was going on about ‘flowers’ since I didn’t notice them AT ALL and was totally oblivious, 8D; I was like “flowers? What?! Why is serena going on about flowers?...” and just nodded politely, not taking the bait to LEAVE THE LIBRARY... until you guys led me away to (bunny ear fingers) "see Ms Cato", wahaha! I swear, it absolutely DIDN'T click AT ALL until you told Ling and I to close our eyes, and THEN I was like "Ooooh, FLOWERS, I get it!"... sorry for almost ruining the surprise and blundering into the library before I was supposed to like a big oblivious oaf!). Anyway, back to the chase: what I really found MOST special was not the gifts (although they were SO BEAUTIFUL AHH); rather, it was the thoughts behind them. The fact that you guys went to all the trouble to organise everything, plan everything, just to surprise Ling and I to such an extent. Really, Ling and I appreciated it so much (we talked about it on the phone afterwards, and were both so very grateful).
I’m a quiet person IRL, so it’s easier to write down all my appreciation here as I communicate it more efficiently in written form. :'D <3 To everyone in the club that got to know me, or just had a quick chat, or who I first met that day (eg :> ), thankyou very much! I’m quite quiet (even though I’m was in Year 12, wagh!) so although I was harder to chat to than social butterfly Lingfish, thankyou for making the effort, and I had a lot of fun! >: D

Guys, I wish I'd met you sooner. Really enjoyed having meetings with you and organising activities for the club (whilst getting off-track and fully distracted talking about anime/games/whatever and not getting much done anyway xD)and you all were great, really great! I'm getting tired now, so I won't say much else, but THANKYOU VERY MUCH. I hope to stay in contact with you guys through this website, and it's always really fun seeing your new artworks <3 UPDATE SRSLY. :'D Goodluck with running the club, although quite honestly, you don't need any luck. We have one of the most active, sustained clubs in the school now, huh? And it's all thanks to you guys! >: D YEEEAAAAH! Sorry if the header I drew of you guys (the top picture) is a little off, I had to work off my memories of you. Anita, to honor your passionate undying love for Gundam, I wanted to draw a little Gundam next to you, but bloody hell, Gundams are hard to draw, so I'm sorry (how on earth do you draw the things?! Raaaagh!)! Stephanie, you were really knowledgeable about seiyuu, Jpop and anime music, thus the headphones! And Jessica, you had an awesome love of diversity in animation styles and a great taste in film, so I drew weird little creatures on your shoulder (supposed to be stop-motion animation puppets!). And Serena isn't online, but she was always one of the HEAD PLANNERS, so I'd imagine she'd be in the corner going, "OOOKKAY GUYS... >:3 let's get back on track and plan for tomorrow!" and cheering everyone on (wow, that sounded cheesy! But oh well, I'm allowed to be cheesy here. It's my journal and I'll do what I want!).


Okay.


I think I'm satisfied now.


And I realise I haven't explained what the gifts were yet, and where they're being displayed (my room :> ). Geez, I write like, a tonne without saying anything different. Ah, well.

I actually wrote a different (and significantly shorter) thankyou post at the end of last term (when it wasn't like A BILLION WEEKS AFTER THE EVENT HAPPENED orz), but I never posted it, because I wanted to draw a thankyou picture and the HSC didn't really leave time for that. But because the posting of a thankyou came so late, I decided to rewrite the whole thing. <3 So yeah, sorry about the tardiness of this thankyou note. The HSC (that HORRIBLE HORRIBLE DEMON of an exam period) has come and gone, and now that I'm free, I'm drawing a lot more, beaching a lot more, writing a lot more and not thinking about anything to do with schoolwork. :> I plan to post art more often because of that, so I'll be more active (probably using Rachael's pen, that thing is a monster of an art supply, in a good way!). <3

Well, I'm off to backtrack everyone's DA accounts and comment on their artworks! D; (I'm so late!)

As a final word... the gifts/artworks are all in my room right now. :> Except the flowers... ;w; they eventually wilted. BUT THEY SMELT DELICIOUS and looked so pretty :'D aaahhh <333

In unrelated news, my Playstation died. I left it running accidently for the whole of the HSC period, and it overheated and imploded. OTL
